Reflection.  Over 100 million Americans are the descendants of 17 million immigrants who were processed through Ellis Island in New York harbor.  All of these strangers came to our shores with high hopes of making a better life.  We are the descendants of immigrants.

Prayer.  Dear Jesus, give me the eyes of faith to see You in every stranger. Â
