Reflection.  Foster a calm attitude of mind, even before the trouble begins.  You can do this by leaning on the Holy Spirit Who is living within you.  Whenever a panic attack seems imminent, take ten deep breaths, and repeat the words “Thank You, Lord, for keeping me calm.”

Prayer.  Help me, Jesus, to draw my strength from You.
