I came to you in weakness, in fear, and in great trepidation. – 1 Cor 2:3

Reflection.  Oliver was brain-damaged from birth: blind, mute, and paralyzed.  He lived until a month before his 33rd birthday.  I had the honor of preaching at his funeral.  There is much that I have learned from Oliver’s meekness and poverty.  He never owned anything.  In a world where money and possessions are regarded as the only real security, Oliver’s life gave testimony to the truth that we really live by love.  He was hand-fed every spoonful of food he ever ate.

Prayer.  Lord, help me to see Your presence in the little ones of this world.
